Moving to the Country…

Moving to the Country…

We live in a small town in Southern Indiana.

For the first 9 years of our marriage we lived In Town where we had neighbors on every side of us.  We dreamed about how some day we would be able to move to The Country.  The Country was going to be glorious.  It was going to be everything that In Town was not.  We envisioned this quiet, pretty, clothes-optional, personal oasis of happiness.

About two years ago we made the big move about 5 miles north of town to The County.

Basically, that means that I moved away from really annoying human neighbors and surrounded myself with really annoying animal neighbors.

I used to listen to loud music blasting from next door and now I listen to 800 dogs barking.

I used to smell the aroma of my neighbors marijuana and now I smell the aroma of cow shit.

I used to run inside away from the fogger truck that came around and killed bugs and now I run inside away from the 400 gazillion bugs.

So in summary, I need to build a bug-free, dog-free, scent-free bubble around my house.  As a major bonus we could then air condition the “outside”.  Until then, I’ll be inside my house hiding from The County if you need me.  The view IS pretty.
